Ending Pain, Repairing an Injury, and Recovering After Surgery

FutureGym is the only method which delivers reliable long-lasting results, and there's a good reason for that.

Ending Pain

Muscles tighten to support the weight of the skeleton in posture and movement and as a means of protection during impact shock. This is a natural essential function, however problems occur when our muscles tighten, remain tight, and normal ON/OFF function (the muscles natural contraction and release process) does not return.

If our muscles are forced to work overtime through repeated misbalanced behaviour and we continue to live into the same misalignments without realigning our skeleton and correcting our muscular activity, our muscles stay switched on simply because our brain forgets how to switch them off again, and with this ongoing demand they ache. And if our muscles are left to remain tight, we become vulnerable to a long list of problems including further skeletal misalignments, muscular misbalances, loss of movement, fear of movement and severe pain.

Contrary to what most people think, practicing fitness disciplines which simply lengthen our muscles to release muscle tension will not create a positive lasting improvement. Living on painkillers, relying on therapists to relieve our pain, or undergoing surgery are also not the best approach and that is because we need to restore our muscle length and function whilst correcting the alignment of our skeleton, rebalancing our whole muscular system, AND retraining our brain how to contract and release our muscles again automatically or they will continue to return to the same tightened state the second they are asked to perform again.

As comprehensive as all of this sounds ‘and is’, and how time consuming it would be to practice every necessary discipline on its own to achieve all of this… FutureGym has made life easy by integrating everything we require into one simple yet clever practice method.

Reprogramming brain and muscle signal response behaviour is called motor-relearning and it holds a very important role in rehabilitation. Restoring optimal function and performance across all interlocking bone, joint and muscle structures through motor-relearning is the only reliable method available for long-lasting pain relief. It’s also the only reliable way of improving muscle shape, length and definition.

FutureGym’s new book ‘End Back and Neck Pain Forever’ collates a series of specific exercises for fast, reliable back and neck pain relief packaged with FutureGym’s practice method. And quite different from all other traditional mainstream back and neck pain programmes, it has a Money Back Guarantee

The End Back and Neck Pain Forever programme includes.

  1. Education on how to create a stable base platform inside your body from which to engage and safely extend the length of all problem muscles out from, so correct alignment can be restored, providing an improvement in weight distribution and the opportunity for rebalancing the complete muscular system.
  2. Accurate navigational instruction that guides you deeply and safely into all of your back, neck and shoulder muscles using stationary risk-free positions, so muscular improvements can occur.
  3. Activity instruction on how to release all muscular tension and improve muscle behaviour and performance so normal ON/OFF muscle function returns.
  4. Education on how to sit, stand and move correctly to ensure you are living into a perfectly-balanced pain-free body.

Other new Physique Architect books all using the same revolutionary FutureGym formula are planned for release. These include books on ending hip and behind pain, eliminating incontinence, increasing sexual stimulation, and more.

Regardless of where your pain is located, when you practice FutureGym exercises you can release all signs of muscle tension and stop muscle spasm the second it occurs. You can also relieve yourself from any long-term reoccurring experiences of pain and move safely through your pain zone into a new retainable pain-free zone.

FutureGym is neuromusculoskeletal! Every aspect of the programme addresses the brain, muscles and skeleton at the exact same time. The formula incorporates myofascial massage and motor-relearning and muscle rotational techniques to release muscle tension, promote reliable restored muscle length, and improve function across all interlocking bone, joint, and muscle structures.

ADDRESSING THE BODY IN THIS WAY IS THE ONLY WAY TO END PAIN ON A RELIABLE BASIS!

  • External therapies (massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic treatment, acupunture, osteopathy etc) are no where near as effective. These methods use a band-aid approach and will only ever deliver short term results – if any.
  • Painkillers only mask the symptom and introduce new problems.
  • Mainstream fitness and stretching programs fail to identify and address the cause of the problem, fail to provide the necessary attention to detail and essential corrective measures required and place further stress on the body which promotes further injury.
  • Surgery is not always the best approach since it fails to correct the false load placed on the skeleton (…the very thing that caused the injury!).

No surprises why *60% to 80% of all injuries are reoccurring, and pain continues in 20% to 40% of all cases after surgery. (*ACC)

FutureGym invites you to move out of your pain spiral.

What do Physical Therapists who know about FutureGym say about it?

“FutureGym is one of the most comprehensive fitness and rehabilitation programs on the market today, addressing all aspects of correcting the body, supporting both correction of alignment and encouraging optimal movement and mobility. Many programs today address a lack of core stability but do not address shortened muscles and lack of overall mobility evident after an injury. FutureGym uniquely addresses these problems. The program retrains all muscles involved in stability whilst improving muscle length and function to ensure the body becomes strong and pain-free with noticeable improvement. It addresses the underlying cause of injury and doesn’t just provide a band-aid solution. The program empowers the participant to become involved in their own rehabilitation and to move from injury to a correctly functioning body in all aspects which can be seen and felt in everyday life.” - Vasiliki, Physiotherapist

“The FutureGym program has been extremely helpful for clients with postural dysfunction. The people I have recommended the program to have all reported decreased pain and enhanced mobility.” - Dr. R Franks, Los Angeles

“I am blown away by the outstanding results from this programme. First of all I have reach-ability I didn’t know I possessed. My stomach which I had given up all hope on after 3 C-Sections is 50% flatter than it was. This programme is fast. It has taken some effort to get an hour in a day but I can say happily I am addicted. Your book has been an invaluable aid. You appear to have included every possible pointer to focus on different parts of the body to perfect the exercise. Your way of teaching pelvic floor muscles is far more practical than anything I have ever done before with patients and ante natal classes. I thought mine were good until I had done a week of pelvic floor pulses and pelvic floor engaging. I am very keen on the teacher training. Thank you again for the weekend.”- Mary Murdoch, Physiotherapist

Repairing an Injury AND Avoiding Surgery

Very few people get through life without experiencing an injury. The reminder of an injury can be anything from a sharp shooting pain followed by tightness and inflexibility of a muscle (as in the case of a torn muscle or ligament), to a continual reoccurrence of the injury with spasmodic or regular bouts of pain. Like creases in a piece of cardboard, once folded the weakest points in our body kick in to take our weight-bearing load and this keeps us reliving our injuries.

FutureGym teaches us how to turn every muscle in our body on and off to repair our injuries using a series of gentle non-impact exercises that place no strain whatsoever on the body. Combined with FutureGym’s gentle practice formula the exercises are extremely effective at restoring muscle function and preventing further injury.

Muscles need to be used after injury or we risk losing their function. Injuries can promote further problems in other areas of the body and must be addressed without delay. The only way we can use a muscle safely following an injury is to directly engage the muscle that’s been injured and stimulate it by sending gentle neuromuscular coordination signals to our brain to restore normal muscle function.

Through practicing specific exercises that directly relate to the area of our injury, pain can be relieved immediately and neuromuscular coordination and normal muscular activity can be restored.

If the nature of our injury is so severe that we are not able to find comfort, we must rest until such time that we are comfortable in position. It may take 2-3 days before we are ready to release tension and restore functionality. We must listen to our body and act only when we are able to relax in position, and add new positions and extend our range in each position at our own personal comfort pace.

Once pain has dispersed and all signs of muscle tightness and muscle spasm has disappeared we should then identify why the injury occurred in the first place. FutureGym exercise allows us to recognise and correct all misalignments and misbalances throughout our entire body. Failing to look at our body in this comprehensive manner following injury is foolish. False loads contributing to our injury need to be corrected or we will remain in an injury spiral.

Surgery is never a complete solution since it fails to correct the false loads placed on our skeleton. This is why pain continues following 20-40% of all operations (*ACC) and why very few operations end up being stand-alone activities.

Stress, lack of movement and false loads are all factors of risk and the only way to reduce risk is to implement fundamental changes of behaviour and live into these new practices. FutureGym exercise allows us to diagnose where all of our misbalances and misalignments are, and to identify the root cause of our problem so we can create the positive changes.

When we learn and practice FutureGym exercise we are able to reduce the risk of reliving our injuries.

Here’s a testimonial from a FutureGym patient who worked out very quickly that he didn’t have to ‘go under the chop’ even though every Doctor he spoke to said it was his ONLY option. The question is not whether the FutureGym program is a good solution for rehabilitation, it’s about how long it will take Doctors to realize that there are other options available that in many cases will eliminate the need for surgery and deliver better overall results.

“Just a short note to express my gratitude and thanks for putting my body back on track especially after being told by Doctors that I had, after looking at x-rays, degeneration of the spine from years of abuse and nothing short of an operation to fuse my spine would give me some pain relief. It was with some skepticism that I indulged in a session with you using FutureGym techniques. After only 2 sessions and with exercises you gave me to do at home, I can honestly say I have no back discomfort whatsoever and when I feel something coming on you have given me the tools and knowledge to relax and stretch into my problem areas.” - Owen B

Recovering After Surgery

Muscle weakness and tenderness is inevitable following surgery. It can take months or even years (depending on the nature of the injury) for movement confidence to be restored and for the area to become fully functional again.

One of the hardest issues to deal with is that while we are resting an area to promote healing, other muscles in our body are becoming dominant to support our weight-bearing load.

When we are mentally ready for our healing process to begin, we need to reintroduce movement which poses no further risk of injury. This means avoiding all exercise methods and treatments that place stress, strain and pressure on our muscles and body, and avoiding all activities where movement is bigger than the muscles own natural contraction.

It is essential we recondition our body with symmetrical precision to identify and correct all of our misalignments and misbalances.

FutureGym provides a very safe and gentle non-impact solution to speed our recovery process. The exercises work fast to restore freedom of movement and improve muscle function.

We can choose from a variety of sitting, standing and lying down positions in the Future Body Program to self-manage our recovery with confidence.
